Málaga's monument quarter
Calle Cañón opens onto one of the old town's most iconic corners: Málaga Cathedral — *La Manquita* — overlooks the square steps from our door, and one of its walls is visible from the shop. The Roman Theatre and Alcazaba are under five minutes on foot, on the same slope towards Gibralfaro hill.
The neighbourhood layers Roman, Moorish and Christian history with today's cultural life: the Picasso Museum on nearby Plaza de la Merced, old-town restaurants and routes into the park promenade. If your visit centres on monuments, viewpoints or the historic atmosphere, Cañón puts you at the ideal starting point.
The street is quiet yet central: Larios Street is 4 minutes away and the Central Market 5 — so you can still combine culture with shopping or market tapas the same day.
How to reach Calle Cañón, 7
From the cruise port (Muelle Uno), the seafront and Alameda bring you into the old town in 10–12 minutes; our door is 3 minutes from Muelle Uno once you're by the Cathedral.
From Plaza de la Merced or the Picasso Museum, it's a 3–4 minute walk on pedestrian streets. From María Zambrano station, take a bus to the centre and walk 5–7 minutes gently uphill towards the Cathedral.
By car, Plaza de la Marina and historic-centre car parks are 5–8 minutes away. Cañón is a narrow street; follow signs to the Cathedral and you'll find us at number 7.
